David Donahue has been the pastor of Manassas Baptist Church since August 2015. He and Veronica have been married for 35 years and have lived in Virginia since 1994. They have one adult daughter, Lauren.
David grew up in southern Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and received his master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
David has pastored in Virginia for 30 years. He loves leading congregations to grow in their faith and service to their community, and make an impact for the Kingdom of Heaven around the world. He has partnered with Virginia Baptists in various ways through the years and has served with them on mission trips to Panama, Ghana, and Austria. He also served as the president of the Virginia Pastor’s Conference and on the Executive Committee of the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
At one time, David was an avid hunter, but then skeet shooting became a passionate hobby. He also enjoys spending time outside hiking or fishing. Please don’t hold this against him, but he is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
