D6 Children Ministry

Deuteronomy 6 instructs us to teach the word of God so that our children can know him. The children's ministry at MBC is named D6 to remind us of the importance of teaching children about God's love for them and his merciful grace of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Sunday Programs
  • 9 am - Children and babies are welcome during the Traditional service at the Sanctuary building
  • 10 am - Children and babies are welcome during the bible study hour at the Rock building in the Bunny Room located in the Preschool Hallway.
  • 11:15 am - During Contemporary Worship in the Rock Building, Kindergarten through 5th grade meet in the Clubhouse for games, songs, and a brief large-group lesson. Then, our age-level groups break off into their separate rooms for games, crafts, and age-appropriate lessons. We also provide a special room for babies and preschool.
Fifth Sundays
When you’re little, we believe a BIG part of learning how to worship and fellowship as a Christian is to see others fellowship and worship! So, on these rare Sundays each year, we don’t have a gathering for children 1st – 5th grade at 11:15 am. Instead, we invite them to join their families for worship, and we’ll have a short children’s message just for them. On these 5th Sundays, we still will have a place for babies up through Kindergarten.

College&
At age 18, the world says you're an adult. Sometimes, it can be hard and take a while to figure that out while navigating higher education or entering the workforce. Join our small group on Sunday mornings at 10 am in the Sanctuary Building, and let's navigate adulting together.

Adult Ministry

At MBC, we believe studying God’s word together is foundational for Christian formation and a central tenant of Thriving. Let us help you connect with a group of people who can be a support system for you and your family, that you can grow beside in Christ. People you can serve, pray, celebrate, and do life with.

Many of our small groups occur between services on Sunday mornings, so you can join us for worship and stay for Bible study. Small Groups and certain Bible studies are also available mid-week.

Wherever you are in your walk of faith or stage of life, we have something for you! From Young Adult groups to studies for Senior Adults and even Christian support groups.

Men's Ministry
We have an active group of men who meet regularly on Saturday mornings for fellowship, Bible study, and Breakfast! Our Men’s Group meets the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 7:30 am. Currently, they are studying through the book “Rise of the Servant Kings” by Ken Harrison. If you’re looking to connect with a group of men of all ages in pursuit of Christ, we’d love to have you join us on one of our Saturday mornings.

Women's Ministry
MBC’s Women’s Ministry nurtures the women of our church and our community as they come to faith with a midweek small group on Tuesday mornings.

Come and experience a ministry that changes lives, develops friendships, and serves our community. We offer Bible studies and events to encourage women and refresh their spirits. We want to inspire your heart, enrich your life, and strengthen your relationships – especially your relationship with the Lord.

Senior Adults
Our senior adults are some of the most vibrant and interesting people at MBC. They are highly valued and play an active role in our church. There are various activities every month that give our seniors an opportunity to get involved and help us reach out to other senior adults in our community.

Not only do we serve in various ministries church-wide, but we also plan activities for each month, including day trips and/or fellowship meals at local restaurants and other special events. These are great opportunities for seniors to get to know one another.
